And yes – housekeeping and free laundry are included, because we know you’ve got bigger things to focus on.

Step into our Coffee Lounge to refuel between lectures or catch up with coursemates over a chilled brew. Need a quiet place to smash that deadline? Slide into the Private Study Area or stretch out in the Co-Working Area. Both are designed to help you stay focused when you need a change of scenery from your desk, without having to visit the uni library.

When it’s time to log off, head to our Outdoor Courtyard for fresh air and sunshine, or challenge your friends to a round in the Gaming Zone. And if movement helps you recharge, our fully equipped state-of-the-art Gym is right here, so you can lift, stretch, and sweat it out on your schedule.

We also host a jam-packed calendar of year-round events – from themed socials and chill movie nights to creative workshops and wellness sessions. You’ll also get exclusive access to networking events, career-focused workshops, and meaningful industry connections that support your academic and professional growth.

When you stay with us, you’ll be in the heart of the city centre, with a riverside walk at the end of the street, leading towards famous waterfront restaurants, bars and pubs.Indie cafes, live music, street food markets, and boutique shops, as well as high-street favourites, are only around 10-minutes away too! From strolling around the longest medieval city walls in England, to visiting one of the many pubs in the most haunted city in Europe, you’ll never be stuck for things to do or places to explore.

York is made for students who want balance. Want green space to clear your head? The city’s packed with peaceful parks, riverside spots, and leafy gardens, perfect for study breaks or morning jogs. Looking for a bit of education? York has plenty of museums, with the Railway Museum, Dungeons, Chocolate Museum or the Jorvik Viking Centre, to name a few. Night out? There’s loads of cocktail bars, social lounges and historic pubs to add to your list. And the city’s compact layout means you’re never far from whatever you need.

The city is super walkable and cycle-friendly, or you can grab a bus from just outside our accommodation. Going further? York Station is a 29-minute walk from your home, with direct trains to Leeds, London, Manchester and more. If you’re driving, the nearby A1 and M62 give you access to the north, east, south and west of the UK – ideal for those trips to visit family.
