4 OF THE BEST EATS IN AND AROUND HATFIELD
From modern Turkish eateries to classic British pubs, there are some great places to eat in and around Hatfield. No problem if you’re on a student budget, there are plenty of options for you to dine out on the cheap!
Harpsfield Hall, Hatfield
Favourite dish? Veggie burger
Turkish Kitchen, Hatfield
Favourite dish? Sigara borek, sauteed potatoes and kings prawns
Whilst the food is delicious, the fantastic service is the other reason why I keep returning here. The team are extremely accommodating and always happy to help. Safe to say, Turkish Kitchen will be one of my go to’s and favourite restaurants in the future.

Macaroni, Potters Bar
Favourite dish? Raviolli al pesto

Thai Rack, St. Albans
Favourite dish? Aromatic duck
This traditionally decorated, family-run restaurant offers deliciously authentic Thai cuisine. With over 72 options to choose from on the menu, you are bound to find something you enjoy! I know, sounds a little daunting, but I can guarantee you that Thai Rack will not disappoint. On a recent visit with friends, we decided to order a selection of dishes to share. Our self made buffet was so tasty and appetising! Upon posting a video on my social media, I was asked multiple times where it was from. Whilst it’s hard to decide on a favourite dish, the duck is easily one of the best I’ve tried.
Moe’s Peri Peri Grill, Hatfield
Favourite dish? Butterfly chicken, creamy mash and sweet potato fries
Anybody who lives in Hatfield or the remaining area will know about Moe’s Peri Grill. With dishes likened to Nando’s, but with a cheaper price tag, it is safe to say that it is a definite favourite of mine. Never having visited the actual restaurant, my boyfriend and I decided to try out the takeaway service, and we did not regret it! I ordered more or less the same dish that I would get from Nando’s and I have to say, it might even be better. Could that be because of the cheaper price tag or the taste? Maybe both!
